Founded in 1986 by John Webster and his partner Claudia Faulk, Webster Design is a creative design studio located in North San Diego County. They specialize in integrated creative campaigns, branding, digital design and developing strategy-driven solutions.
Their work includes projects and campaigns for companies that span a wide spectrum of industries and disciplines including manufacturing, medical, travel, entertainment and more.
John and Claudia have been professional artists/designers since 1977 when they began airbrushing tour shirts for bands like Boston. Claudia was also a fabric artist and created soft sculptures, wall hangings and weavings. Later they turned their skills towards commercial illustration and eventually worked in advertising design.
In 1990 they made the leap from traditional to digital media when they got their first Mac. While the design work is now digital, many of their illustrations are still hand crafted.
In addition to his design and illustration projects, John did weekly editorial cartoons for 6 years for a San Diego County daily newspaper.
Claudia is an associate professor at MiraCosta College where she teaches web development and social media for business. She has a BA in Multi-media and a Masters in Educational Technology from San Diego State University.
In 2011 they helped launch a Craft Brewery by reviving a historic San Diego beer brand - the Aztec Brewing Company.
